Salmon DNA – polynucleotides

Salmon DNA refers above all to treatments with polynucleotides (PN) or PDRN, obtained from highly purified DNA components. They are used to support the skin’s natural regeneration processes.

What the treatment can do

How the treatment works

Depending on the product and the treatment goal, the preparation is placed into the skin point by point with very fine needles. This puts the substance precisely where skin regeneration is to be supported.

The treatment is not the same as a classic filler: the aim is not to add volume or alter facial features, but to support skin quality and regeneration.

Suitable local anaesthesia can make the treatment considerably more comfortable. Afterwards, small areas of redness, swelling or pinpoint bumps can appear temporarily.

Important: not every product described as “salmon DNA” is identical. The precise effect depends on the substance used, its concentration and the indication.
